Having successfully completed Bilkent University English Preparatory School, Mr. EKER got his LLB from Bilkent University School of Law. Due to his considerable academic achievement, he received a “Merit Scholarship” from his university and graduated as a “Honor Student” from his department. In the meantime, he became the very first law student in Bilkent University completing Minor Program in Philosophy.

Following graduation, he worked in various law offices in different fields of both private and public law. He was admitted to Ankara Bar and served as a lawyer by providing legal consultancy services to many leading companies. Throughout this process, he especially focused on areas of commercial law, contract law, labor law and public law. Subsequently, he was accepted to University College London (UCL) for LLM in International Commercial Law. He especially took courses on International Trade and Maritime Law. He has written his dissertation in the field of International Trade Law with a title of “The Fraud Exception in Letters of Credit”.

He speaks fluent English and is the co-author of two books. Mr. EKER is registered with Istanbul Bar Association.
